AC women’s soccer defeats Olivet, 1-0

ADRIAN, Mich.—The Adrian College women’s soccer team improved to 3-2 in the MIAA with a 1-0 win over Olivet College on Friday night at the Performance Stadium.

Lindsay Chitwood scored her eighth goal of the season in the 18th minute off a Katie Williams assist to give the Bulldogs the only goal they would need. Goalkeeper Amanda House had four saves for AC.

The hosts outshot the Comets, 12-6. Olivet had six corner kicks to AC’s five, while both teams committed 10 fouls.

The Bulldogs will next host Saint Mary’s College at 4 p.m. on Tuesday at the Performance Stadium.
