Saints control game vs. Bulldogs

ADRIAN, Mich.—The Adrian College women’s soccer team was outdone by Siena Heights University, 0-3, at the Performance Stadium on Wednesday evening.

The Bulldogs (3-6) were out-shot 4-14 in the game. Freshman goalkeeper Amanda House had seven saves. The Saints carried a 1-0 lead into the half, and pulled away with two goals in the final 25 minutes.

The Saints’ goals were scored by Amanda Marinello (two) and Christine Coleman with Ashleigh Olano adding an assist. Siena Heights had nine corner kicks to none for AC, while the Bulldogs were called for eight fouls to SHU’s four.

Adrian travel to Alma College on Saturday with a 1-0 record in conference play. They face the Scots at noon.
