Bulldog women’s soccer falls to Lady Terriers

HIRAM, Ohio—The Hiram College Lady Terriers got two goals in the first half and held on to win over the visiting AC women's soccer team on Wednesday night.

The Lady Terriers got on the board early in the game when Kendra Dean found teammate Courtney Cosley for the game's first goal in the 5th minute of play. Hiram would add another goal in the 24th minute, scored by Claire Conner, to grab the early 2-0 lead midway through the first half.

The Bulldogs got on the scoreboard in the 87th minute of the game when sophomore Lindsay Chitwood scored her fifth goal of the season. AC was outshot in the contest 21-13 and Hiram also held the advantage in corner kicks, 8-0.

The Bulldogs are now 2-4 on the season and will travel to Anderson University (Ind.) on Saturday for a noon game.
