Bulldogs drop 1-0 decision to Pilots

ADRIAN, Mich.—Lindsey Hyduk's goal in the 33rd minute proved to be the only scoring of a closely fought game between the Adrian College women's soccer team and the visiting Bethel College Pilots.

In a game marked by 24 combined fouls and two yellow cards, the Pilots managed to stop the Bulldogs' pressure in the second half to try to knot up the game 1-1. The Pilots outshot the Bulldogs by a 13-9 margin and held a narrow advantage in corner kicks, 5-4.

Lindsay Chitwood led the Bulldogs in shots in the contest with three. Amanda House had seven saves in the 1-0 loss.

Adrian is now 2-3 on the year and will next travel to Hiram College on Wednesday for a 3:30 p.m. match.
