ADRIAN, Mich.—The Adrian College women’s soccer team earned their second win of the season on Wednesday afternoon at the Performance Stadium, downing Hiram College, 2-1.

Lindsay Chitwood, a freshman from St. Clair Shores (Lakeview HS) recorded her second-straight game with two goals, scoring first at the 13-minute mark on a breakaway and then one minute later when she out-hustled the Terriers for a loose ball and scored her fourth goal of the season.

Hiram’s Lindsay Manoz scored in the 75th minute to make the final minutes tense, but freshman goalkeeper Amanda House and the Bulldog defense fended off a late Terrier rally to preserve the win.
