AC Women’s Soccer falls to Bethel

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.-- The Adrian College women’s soccer team opened the 2006 season on Friday afternoon in Indianapolis, falling 0-2 to Bethel College.

The Bulldogs were outshot 5-15. AC freshman goalkeeper Amanda House registered 12 saves. Fellow newcomer Sarah Evans had two shots on goal. The first Bethel goal came in the eighth minute followed by the game’s final goal in the 76th minute. Both teams had two corner kicks, while the Bulldogs had five fouls to Bethel’s eight.
