Olech and Roose receive honorable-mention All-MIAA
Roose is honored for second-straight season

ADRIAN, Mich.-- Adrian College’s Nichole Roose and Kim Olech have received All-MIAA honorable-mention recognition for their 2006-07 women’s basketball seasons.

Roose, a junior guard from Utica (Lutheran North) averaged 8.6 points per game, hitting a team-high 97% from the charity stripe. She was six made free throws short of qualifying for the NCAA Division III lead in free-throw shooting. She hit 38-of-106 three-point attempts and grabbed 3.0 rebounds per game. She was named to the honorable-mention list as a sophomore a year ago.

Olech, a freshman center from Canton (Plymouth), led the Bulldogs in scoring and rebounding with 9.5 points and 8.8 rebounds per game. She scored in double figures 12 times and had three double-doubles. She also blocked a team-high 35 shots defensively.

Adrian ended their season at 9-16 overall and 3-13 in the MIAA.
