Eshelman named to All-Tournament team

ADRIAN, Mich.—Adrian College’s Lindsey Eshelman (Adrian/Adrian HS) was named to the Border Battle All-Tournament team on Sunday at Wittenberg University.

In the tournament, hosted by Wittenberg, the outside hitter totaled 61 kills, nine aces, 45 digs, and three blocks, while the Bulldogs went 2-2, defeating Capital and Denison and losing to Ohio Northern and Wittenberg.

On the season, Eshelman has 157 kills, an average of 3.74 per-game, and 25 aces, leading AC in both categories.The Bulldogs are 7-5 with a 2-1 mark in the MIAA.

They host Alma College on Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. before facing Hope at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, also in the Merillat Center.
