Bulldog volleyball falls at Alma, 3-2

ALMA, Mich.—The Adrian College volleyball team fell at Alma College on Friday night, 3-2.

In the 25-30, 31-29, 30-24, 24-30, 12-15 loss, the Bulldogs were led in kills by Lindsey Eshelman with 23. Abby Sikora again led the way in assists with 46, while Holly Pellegrin had five blocks. Jessica Beckman and Sara Morningstar added 14 and 11 kills, respectively, while Beckman led the team in digs with 34.

Samantha Mercy added 25 digs, while Sikora had 18 and Stephanie Asmus, 16.

The Scots were led by Kaylee Sova’s 23 kills.

Adrian is now 13-7, 8-3 in the MIAA. The Bulldogs now have a week off, before traveling to Hope on Saturday, Oct. 21.
