Belles get best of Bulldogs

NOTRE DAME, Ind.—Saint Mary's College handed the Adrian College volleyball team just their second conference loss this season on Tuesday night, 3-2 (30-24, 28-30, 32-34, 30-22, 15-8).

The Bulldogs were led by Jenny Carlson and Lindsey Eshelman, who tallied 17 and 15 kills on the night, respectively. Samantha Mercy led AC in digs with 15 while Natalie Niblock had 49 assists.

Lorna Slupczynski of Saint Mary's led all players in kills (27) and digs (19).

The Bulldogs (11-7, 8-2 MIAA) host an Alumni match on Saturday, October 6 and are next in action on Tuesday, October 9 when they host Calvin College at 6:30 p.m.
