Bulldogs sweep Comets

OLIVET, Mich.—The Adrian College volleyball team went on the road to defeat Olivet College on Tuesday night, 3-0.

In the 30-24, 30-28, 30-20 win, the Bulldogs were led by Sara Morningstar with 11 kills and two blocks. Abby Sikora again led the way in assists with 33, while Holly Pellegrin added 10 kills. Samantha Mercy had a team-high 19 digs, while Sikora had 14. Lucie Smith had eight kills, while Jenny Carlson and Lindsey Eshelman added seven and six, respectively.

The Bulldogs are now 9-6 on the year, 4-2 in the MIAA. The Comets drop to 0-14 on the season and 0-6 in league play.

Adrian will host Albion and St. Mary’s in a tri-match on Friday afternoon, starting at 4 p.m.
