Morningstar, Bulldogs among top in nation in blocking

ADRIAN, Mich.—Sara Morningstar and her Bulldog teammates are among the nation's statistical leaders in blocking in NCAA Division III.

Morningstar, a senior middle hitter from Addison, Mich. (Addison HS), currently ranks as the #5 blocker in Division III volleyball. Through 44 games, she has tallied 76 blocks, averaging 1.73 blocks per game.

As a team, the Bulldogs are right on pace with Morningstar. The Adrian College volleyball team also holds the #5 position among all Division III volleyball teams in blocking. The Bulldogs have recorded 59 solo blocks and 185 block assists through 44 games and average 3.44 blocks per game.

The Adrian College volleyball team is currently in second place in the MIAA and owns an 8-6 overall record with a 5-1 conference mark.
