Pellegrin’s 15 kills lead AC to sweep over TSU

ADRIAN, Mich.—The Adrian College Volleyball team swept the Tri-State University Thunder on Tuesday evening at the Merillat Center, 30-26, 30-12, 32-30.

Holly Pellegrin headlined the AC offensive attack with 15 kills on 30 attempts and three blocks. Abby Sikora led all players with 34 assists, while Lindsey Eshelman added seven kills and 16 digs. Jessica Beckman had 20 digs for the Bulldogs and Samantha Mercy added 17.

For the Thunder, Sallie Richardson had eight kills. Rainbow Bednarski had 26 assists.

The Bulldogs are now 5-3 overall and 2-1 in the MIAA. They will next travel to Wittenberg University on Friday and Saturday for the Border Battle Tournament.
