Bulldogs beat Brits, 3-0
ALBION,
Mich.—The
Adrian College volleyball team moved
to 2-0 in MIAA play on Thursday night
with a 3-0 (30-21, 30-27, 30-24) victory
over conference foe Albion College.
Leading
the way for the Bulldogs was senior
Lindsey Eshelman who tallied 18 kills
in 30 attempts on the night. Teammate
Jenny Carlson pitched in with 10 kills
of her own in the sweep of the Britons.
Samantha Mercy and Jessica Beckman
both registered a game high 12 digs
for Adrian in the victory.
The
Britons were led offensively by Morgan
Watler who notched 13 kills and 10
digs in the loss, which moves Albion
to 0-1 in league play. Toni Spana
led the way in digs for the Brits
with 11 on the night.
The
AC volleyball team will travel to
Kalamazoo College on Saturday, September
8 for an 11 a.m. match against the
Hornets.
