ADRIAN, Mich.—The Adrian College volleyball team opened up their conference schedule with a 3-0 win on Tuesday night over the visiting Saint Mary's Belles.

Eight Bulldogs registered at least one kill in the victory with Lucie Smith and Jenny Carlson leading the way with eight and seven kills respectively. Libero Samantha Mercy had 19 digs in the win while teammate Natalie Niblock also registered double-digit digs with 12.

The Belles were paced by Lorna Slupczynski who notched 11 kills and 11 digs in the loss. Jacee Watson had 10 kills and Marissa Gross added a team-high 17 digs in the match.

The Bulldogs will hit the road and take on conference opponent Albion College at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 6.
