AC Volleyball
splits again
ELMHURST,
Ill.—The Adrian College
volleyball team earned a split for
the second-straight day, falling to
Carleton College and beating Saint
Mary’s of Minnesota at the Elmhurst
College Invitational on Saturday.
Against
Carleton, the Bulldogs lost 19-30,
23-30, 30-18, 23-30. Lindsey Eshelman
had 11 kills while Sara Morningstar
added eight. Abby Sikora had a team-high
30 assists and added 13 digs. Samantha
Mercy led AC in digs with 19.
Versus
Saint Mary’s of Minnesota, AC
won 30-18, 29-31, 30-24, 30-20. Eshelman
again led the way with 25 kills and
18 digs. Lucy Smith added 11 kills
and 11 assists, while Sikora had 37
assists. Mercy again led the way in
digs with 21.
The
Bulldogs are now 2-2 on the season
and will host Siena Heights University
on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
