Haines has the rare distinction of being a six-time
All-American. At Adrian College, she was a three-time
NCAA Division III All-American and a two-time
national champion in the pole vault, setting the
NCAA indoor record at 12-8 ¼” and
the outdoor record at 12-11”.
A two-time All-MIAA performer, Haines was named
the league’s most outstanding field performer
in 2004.
She was later a three-time NAIA Division II All-American
and captured two more pole vaulting national championships
at Siena Heights University.
Haines qualified for the United States National
Championship in indoor competition and outdoor
competition, both in 2005.
