Assistant track & field coach
Dr. Forest Haines returns to Adrian College track & field as an assistant coach after serving as the Bulldogs’ head coach in two previous terms; from 1974 to 1981 and from 1989 to 2000.

During his tenures as the Adrian head coach, Haines developed two All-Americans and one NCAA Division III national champion. His pupils account for 28 current school record holders and one NCAA record.

Haines began his coaching career at Roy Miller High School in Corpus Christi, Texas in 1965.

He earned his bachelor’s degree from Ohio University and went on to earn a Master of Science degree from Ohio and his Ph.D. from the University of Missouri at Rolla.

Haines is a professor of Earth Science at Adrian College.
