Bulldog 4 X 100 team is fastest in the MIAA
Reagan, Upshaw, Bensett and Calley set school record at 42.03

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.—The Adrian College men’s 4 X100 relay team won the much-coveted event at the 116th running of the MIAA Championships at Calvin College on Friday, winning in a time of 42.03.

The relay squad consisted of Patrick Reagan, Desmond Upshaw, Justyn Bensett and Chris Calley. They edged Calvin College who finished in 42.18 and Olivet’s team that ran 43.16.

The Adrian men finished in seventh place with 38 points, while the Bulldog women took sixth place with 15 points. Calvin won both the men’s and women’s meets with scores of 250.50 and 339, respectively.

AC’s Jon Antal came in third place in the hammer throw at 44.95 meters, while Calley took third in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.01 and fourth in the 100 meters at 11.30.

Caitlin Dickerson led the Bulldog women, finishing fifth in the discus with a toss of 37.18 meters.
