Adrian track & field competes at SVSU
Antal earns third place in discus

SAGINAW, Mich.—The Adrian College track and field teams competed at the Collegiate Open at Saginaw Valley State University on Saturday.

Allison Lotgren finished sixth in the long jump at 14’ 7 ½”, while Caitlin Dickerson was fifth in the discus at 34.91 meters. Amy Bodnar was fifth in the javelin with a throw of 29.78 meters.

On the men’s side Chris Calley finished sixth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.27. He later finished third in the 200-meter dash at 22.35. Patrick Reagan was fifth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 53.44. Jay Yockey came in fifth in the 800-meters at 1:59.29. The men’s 4X100 relay team came in third place, running 43.66. Jon Antal came in third place in the discus with a distance of 42.64 meters.

The Bulldog men finished sixth in the meet, while the Adrian women were 11th.

The Adrian athletes will next travel to Albion College on Saturday, April 21, for a meet starting at noon.
