Bulldogs
compete in MIAA Tri-State Jamboree
ANGOLA,
Ind.-- The Adrian College men’s
cross country team finished fifth and women’s
cross country team placed sixth in the MIAA
Jamboree hosted by Tri-State College.
The Adrian women’s team finished with
190 points, while the men’s team scored
163 points. Calvin College won both races,
scoring a perfect 15 points in the both
races.
Meghan Lohr finished 28th overall in the
women’s race, leading the Adrian women
with a time of 22:10. Liesle Travis was
31st at 22:29, while Laura Farnsel placed
38th at 23:10. Kelly Griffin (45th, 23:51)
and Jeanine Carpenter (48th, 24:12) rounded
out the women’s scoring times.
Leading the men’s team were Joseph
Hart and Bob Palmer, who placed 25th and
26th with times of 28:34 and 28:38 respectively.
Tim Storm and Nolan Gillespie finished 36th
and 37th with times of 29:52 and 29:56.
Brian Cicerchi (39th, 30:06) rounded out
the scoring runners for the Bulldogs. Jay
Yockey (43rd, 30:47) and James Sly (44th,
30:59) also participated for the men’s
team.
The Bulldogs will return to action on September
29 when they compete in the Lansing Community
College Invitational.
