Bulldogs
compete in MIAA Hope Jamboree
Men and women’s teams place sixth

HOLLAND,
Mich.-- The Adrian College men’s
and women’s cross country teams both
placed sixth in the MIAA Jamboree hosted
by Hope College.
The Adrian women’s team finished with
156 points, while the men’s team scored
168 points. Calvin College won both races,
scoring 15 points in the men’s race
and 16 points in the women’s event.
Chelsey Berlin placed 19th overall in the
women’s race, leading the Adrian women
with a time of 20:55. Kelsey Miller was
21st at 21:00, while Liesle Travis placed
37th at 22:28.Laura Farnsel (38th, 22:29),
Sierra Roberts (41st, 22:44) and Andrea
Fickenscher (43rd, 23:04) rounded out the
women’s times.
Leading the men’s team was Bob Palmer,
who placed 27th with a time of 28:42. Jay
Yockey was 30th at 29:13, while Neal Mossing
finished 35th at 29:40. Jacob Green placed
36th with 29:52 and Brian Rider was 40th
at 30:17. Bryan Cicerchi (42nd, 30:37) and
Joe Hart (47th, 31:03) also participated
for the men’s team.
The Bulldogs will return to action Sept.
30 when they compete in the Lansing Community
College Invitational.
