AC Runners compete at Case

CLEVELAND, Ohio—The Adrian College cross country squads ran at the 7th Annual Bill Sudek Classic on the campus of Case Western Reserve University on Saturday morning with the men finishing 10th and the women 14th.

Sophomore Joe Hart led the Bulldogs, finishing in 54th place finish with a time of 28:52. Classmate Bob Palmer was not far behind, placing 62nd with a time of 29:02. The Bulldogs' score was rounded out by Bryan Cicerchi, Nolan Gillespie, and Nolan Gillespie, who placed 100th, 104th, and 122nd respectively.

On the women's side, the Bulldogs were paced by senior captain Liesle Travis, who placed 68th with a time of 21:49. Newcomer Meghan Lohr placed 77th in a time of 22:01 in her college debut race. Rounding out the scoring were Laura Farnsel, Kelly Griffin, and Caitlin Dickerson placing 126th, 148th and 155th respectively.

Next up for the Bulldog runners is the Calvin College Invitational, which takes place September 15 in Grand Rapids, Mich.
