Adrian picks up win at Defiance
Bulldogs sweep doubles matches

DEFIANCE, Ohio—The Adrian College men’s tennis team picked up a 5-4 win at Defiance College on Monday afternoon.

The Bulldogs swept all three doubles matches with Blake Childs and Mike Douglas winning 8-6 at first doubles, Steve Kerwin and Orlo Yeagley winning 9-8 (7-3) in the second slot, and Danny Krsteski and Ryan Schmidli winning 8-4 at third doubles.

Yeagley and Schmidli also picked up wins in singles. Yeagley won 6-2, 6-0 at fourth singles, while Schmidli won 6-4, 7-5 in the sixth slot.

Adrian is now 4-9 overall and will travel to Tri-State University on Friday for a 1 p.m. MIAA match.
