Mandy Ziegler is entering her fourth year as an assistant softball coach for Adrian College. She also has spent two years coaching a 14-under summer travel team for the Ida Bluestreaks.

Attending St. Mary Catholic Central in Monroe, Ziegler accomplished all-state honors at second base during high school.

Ziegler was a four-year starter at Hillsdale College from 1997-2001, playing shortstop and second base. In her four year career at Hillsdale, she received All-GLIAC honors in 1999, 2000, and 2001. She was also named the Team Defensive MVP Award, and served as the team captain her senior year. In the fall of 2002, she attended the USA Olympic Softball tryouts. Ziegler then graduated from Hillsdale in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science Degree with a biology major and chemistry minor.

Ziegler later attended the University of Toledo to attain her Master of Education Degree.

Ziegler currently teaches at Monroe St. Mary Catholic Central and lives in Monroe.
