Bulldogs swept by Cougars
Toth goes 3-for-3 in game two
SPRING
ARBOR, Mich.—The Adrian College
softball team was swept in a Wednesday double-header
at Spring Arbor University.
The
Bulldogs were downed 0-9 in game one. Adrian managed
just one hit in the contest, a single by Emily
McLane. Lindsay Mandeville got the loss, going
four innings and slowing eight earned runs on
eight hits with two strike outs.
In
game two Adrian fell 7-17. Carly Toth was 3-for-3
with an RBI and two runs. Krissy Sheets went 2-for-3
with a run and an RBI, while Tomasak was 2-for-2
with a run.
Andrea
Vangoss got the loss in game two, giving up nine
earned runs on 10 hits.
The
Bulldogs are now 4-2 on the season and will host
cross-town rival Siena Heights University tomorrow
(March 22) at 3:30 p.m.
