Two more routs, Adrian now 6-0 in
Orlando
Vangoss still untouched in three appearances
ORLANDO,
Fla.—The Adrian College softball
team continued to roll on Thursday morning, beating
the Community College of Baltimore County- Dundalk
by scores of 9-1 and 8-0.
The
Bulldogs, now 6-0 on the year, were led in game
one by Emily McLane who was 3-for-5 with three
RBI, a triple, a run and a stolen base. Amy Kilimas
was 3-for-4 with a double, two runs, an RBI and
a stolen base. Lindsay Mandeville got her third
win of the young season, throwing a complete game
and scattering three hits while striking out four.
The
story of game two was Andrea Vangoss, who is yet
to allow a run in her AC career. She threw a complete
game two-hitter with three strike outs.
Game
two was called after the fifth inning due to the
mercy rule, but not before Lindsay Tomasak went
2-for-2 with a run and Jenna Kloster went 2-for-4
with two runs and a stolen base.
Adrian
will close their spring trip tomorrow (Friday)
when they play Illinois Valley Community College
at 9 a.m. and Gloucester County College (Mass.)
at 11 a.m. at the Wide World of Sports Complex
in Disney World.
