David
Knox begins his first season as the
assistant men’s soccer coach
at Adrian College.
Knox
is coming off of a successful career
at Albion College. A four-year letter
winner for the Britons, Knox gained
several accolades during his senior
season. He was Albion’s leader
in goals scored, total points, and
tied for the lead in assists for the
2006 season. Knox was also tabbed
as the MIAA Offensive Player of the
Week on two occasions as well as being
named to the All-MIAA second team
in his senior campaign.
During
the 2005 season, Knox and his teammates
earned the most wins in a season for
an Albion squad while also setting
new marks for goals scored in a season
as well as tying the previous mark
for goals scored in a half. Through
his college career, Knox helped with
various community camps for area children.
He is a 2007 graduate of Albion College
with a degree in Art.
