Evan
Himes will enter his second season
as the head coach of Bulldog soccer
in 2007.
His
first Adrian team finished strong,
earning ties against Albion, Tri-State,
and Calvin twice. He tutored senior
All-MIAA goalkeeper Ryan O’Keefe
who ranked eighth nationally with
9.33 saves-per-game.
Prior
to arriving at AC, Himes served as
an assistant women’s soccer
coach at Washington & Jefferson
College. Himes helped the Presidents
to a school-best second-place finish
in the PAC in 2005. He coached 11
all-conference players, one all-region
performer and one academic all-district
selection.
In
2003, Himes spent time as an assistant
girls soccer coach at Niles High School,
Ohio and gained experience as an admissions
counselor at Hiram College.
Himes
served as an instructor at soccer
camps at the College of New Jersey,
California University (Penn.), Clarion
University, and Washington & Jefferson.
A
three-year goalkeeper for the Hiram
men’s soccer team, Himes finished
his playing career in fourth place
on the all-time saves list. |
