Head Men's Soccer Coach Evan Himes

Evan Himes will enter his second season as the head coach of Bulldog soccer in 2007.

His first Adrian team finished strong, earning ties against Albion, Tri-State, and Calvin twice. He tutored senior All-MIAA goalkeeper Ryan O’Keefe who ranked eighth nationally with 9.33 saves-per-game.

Prior to arriving at AC, Himes served as an assistant women’s soccer coach at Washington & Jefferson College. Himes helped the Presidents to a school-best second-place finish in the PAC in 2005. He coached 11 all-conference players, one all-region performer and one academic all-district selection.

In 2003, Himes spent time as an assistant girls soccer coach at Niles High School, Ohio and gained experience as an admissions counselor at Hiram College.

Himes served as an instructor at soccer camps at the College of New Jersey, California University (Penn.), Clarion University, and Washington & Jefferson.

A three-year goalkeeper for the Hiram men’s soccer team, Himes finished his playing career in fourth place on the all-time saves list.
