Bulldogs
fall to MIAA leaders from Albion
ADRIAN,
Mich.—The
Adrian College mens soccer team was defeated
by the visitors from Albion by a score of
2-1.
AC
opened the scoring after a penalty kick
was awarded in the 18th minute, when Eric
Drake calmly netted the Bulldogs a 1-0 lead
in the contest.
However,
the Britons would answer back with goals by
Jason Smith in the 28th minute and Brandon
Hall in the 44th minute of the first half
to take a 2-1 lead into intermission. The
second half featured numerous chances for
both sides but no scoring.
Adrian
is now 2-6-2 overall and 2-2-2 in the MIAA.
The next match for the Bulldogs is at Hope
College on Tuesday October 10th.
