Bulldogs fall to Thunder, 2-0

ADRIAN, Mich.—The Adrian College mens soccer team fell to conference foe Tri-State University on Saturday afternoon.

Tri-State got on the board in the 14th minute when Boyd Lewis passed the ball across to Kevin Wajert who deflected it to an open Rudy Cantrell who pushed the ball into the goal. The Thunder added their second goal of the game in the 28th minute when Nathan Butler crossed the ball into the box to a sliding BJ Still.

The Bulldogs outshot the Thunder 11-8 on the day but could not find the back of the net on any of their opportunities.

Adrian is now 3-6-1 overall and 1-3-0 in the MIAA. The next match for the Bulldogs is at Kalamazoo College on October 3 at 4:00 p.m.
