Bulldogs get best of Britons

ALBION, Mich.—Despite being outshot by the host Britons by a 16-7 margin, the Adrian College men's soccer team defeated Albion College for the first time since the 2000 season on Saturday by a score of 1-0.

Jared Roan scored the lone goal of the game in the 85th minute to give the Bulldogs the victory. Nick Siekirk picked up the shut-out victory in goal for Adrian, registering three saves.

The Bulldogs are now 3-4-1 on the year and 1-1-0 in the MIAA. They will host defending conference champion Hope College on Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the Performance Stadium.
