Bulldogs defeat Ravens, 2-1

ANDERSON, Ind.—The Adrian College men’s soccer team defeated the Anderson University Ravens on Saturday, 2-1.

The Bulldogs jumped out to the early lead when Eric Drake crossed the ball and Tom Maxwell's header found the back of the net for the game's first goal. The score would remain the same until the 65th minute of the game when the Ravens capitalized on an uncontrolled ball in the box and knotted up the game 1-1. The Bulldogs quickly responded, however, when Ben Enser scored the game winning goal in the following minute of the game.

Nick Siekirk got the win in goal as the Bulldogs improved their record to 2-3-0 overall.

The men's soccer team is next in action on Wednesday, September 19 when they open up their conference schedule on the road at Alma College with a 4 p.m. game.
