Bulldogs
out-shot by Hornets
ADRIAN,
Mich.—The
Adrian College men’s soccer team fell
in their MIAA season- opener on Wednesday
afternoon, 0-2, to Kalamazoo College at
AC’s Performance Stadium.
The
Bulldogs were out-shot 17-6 by the Hornets,
and had no corner kicks to KC’s five.
Kalamazoo opened the scoring in the 53rd
minute when Brett Bullard scored off a Scott
McDonald assist. Ryan Dutches gave the visitors
some breathing room when he beat AC’s
goalkeeper Ryan O’Keefe in the 61st
minute.
O’Keefe
had six goals in the game, while Eric Drake
and Tom Maxwell each got off two shots for
the Bulldogs, who are now 0-5 on the year.
Adrian
travel to Olivet College on Saturday to
face the Comets in an MIAA match-up at 2
p.m.
