Thornton named MIAA Player of the Week

ADRIAN, Mich.-- Adrian senior center Steve Thornton of Canton (Canton HS) came off the bench to score 19 points and pull down nine rebounds over 20 minutes as the Bulldogs posted their first victory of the season topping Oberlin 77-40. Thornton shot a perfect 7-for-7, including 2-for-2 on three pointers. He was 3-for-5 on free throws and was credited with two blocked shots.

Adrian is 1-8 on the season and travel to Albion on Wednesday for a 7:30 tip off against the Britons.
