Bulldogs finish 5th at Calvin

GRAND RAPIDS , Mich.—The Adrian College men’s golf team shot a 323 at the MIAA Jamboree hosted by Calvin College on Monday, edging out the hosts by one stroke and leading them to a fifth place finish.

Tommy Carson led the way again for the Bulldogs with an 76, tying him for sixth individually. Jordan Kelly had the next-best round with an 81. Mark Eberline and Alex Webster both turned in rounds of 83. Jeremy Squires rounded out the AC scoring with an 89.

Hope College won the event with an overall score of 301 and Matthew Lapham (73) of Hope was the medalist.

Adrian is in action on Saturday as the men's golf team travels to Tri-State University for the next MIAA Jamboree with a 1:30 p.m. start.
