AC women's golf opens season at MIAA Jamboree

ALBION, Mich.—The Adrian College women's golf team opened their season by competing at the first MIAA Jamboree of the 2007 season, hosted by Kalamazoo College.

The Bulldogs finished seventh out of nine teams with a team score of 374. Alyssa Collins (86) and Kelly Behen (87) both broke into the top 25 finishers at the event with finishes tied for 12th and 15th respectively. Hope Turcheck, Maria Palaian, and Heather Losey rounded out the scoring for the Bulldogs, finishing 44th, T-47th, and T-49th.

Olivet College won the event with an overall score of 335, while the individual medalist at the event was Katie O'Brien of Saint Mary's College, who shot a 76 on the day.

The Bulldogs will next compete at Alma College on Sept. 11 at 1 p.m.
