Ron Sheils is in his fourth season as an assistant coach for Adrian College football and will coach the defensive backs in 2007.

For the past three seasons, Sheils has served as an outside linebackers coach and as a volunteer assistant coach.

Sheils was a three-time All-MIAA performer and All-American at Adrian from 2000 to 2003 at defensive back. He was named defensive MVP twice and was also a team captain as a member of the gridiron squad.

A native of Briton, Michigan, Sheils played his prep football at Briton-Macon High School.
