Howland
named MIAA co-Defensive Player of the Week
ADRIAN, Mich.-- Adrian College senior defensive
end Joel Howland has been named co-Defensive Player
of the Week in the MIAA.
Howland, an Adrian native (Adrian HS) was credited
with six tackles, four of them solos and three for
lost yardage, in the Bulldogs' 13-10 loss to Olivet.
He also had a sack, a forced fumble and pass deflection.
On the season, Howland has 23 tackles, 6.0 for loss,
3.0 sacks, two quarterback hurries, one recovered
fumble, and one forced fumble.
The Bulldogs (2-3, 1-1 MIAA) will host Tri-State University
at 2 p.m. on Saturday as part of Adrian College's
homecoming festivities.
