Phil Lawrence, a 1976 Adrian College graduate, begins his 12th year as a member of the Bulldog staff. He coaches the tight ends and tackles.

Lawrence brings over 30 years of coaching experience to Bulldog athletics. He was a member of the Hudson High School staff for 20 years, including 11 seasons as head coach (1980-91). His teams captured three LCAA titles and qualified for the state playoffs in 1982 and 1985. He was named Lenawee County Coach of the Year three times.

He is in his 30th year of teaching physical education and health at Hudson High School.

Lawrence and his wife Becky have two children, Jason and Beth.
