Wallace and Howard honored
again as All-Americans
Bulldogs named to the Football
Gazette’s Pre-season team
ADRIAN,
Mich.—Adrian
College’s Tavarski ‘Taz’
Wallace and D.J. Howard continue to
garner national attention, being named
to Don Hansen’s Football Gazette’s
Pre-season All-American team.
Wallace,
a senior from Adrian (Madison High School),
was named to the first team while Howard,
a junior from Adrian (Adrian High School)
earned third-team recognition.
Wallace,
a 6-1, 203 lb. linebacker enters the
2006 season as the school’s all-time
leading tackler. He led the nation in
tackles in 2004 with 155 and registered
133 as a junior. Howard, a 5-7, 155
lb. wide receiver, made the third team
as a kick returner. He led the nation
in punt return average a year ago at
18.6 yards-per-return.
The
Adrian College Bulldogs will open the
season in their new stadium on Sept.
9 at 7:30 p.m. against Defiance College.
