Bulldogs get best of Yellow Jackets

DEFIANCE, Ohio-- The Adrian Bulldogs began their 2007 football campgain with a victory over Defiance College by a score of 35-9.

Freshman Mike McGee completed nine of 16 pass attempts for 143 yards. He threw two touchdown passes and ran in a touchdown of his own. Teammate Troy Niblock had 14 carries for 100 yards and two touchdowns in the season opener.

The Bulldogs go into their bye week 1-0 and will take the field again on September 15 when they travel to Bluffton University for a 1:30 p.m. game.
