Frequently
Asked Questions
The
Adrian Dance Team is a performance team that
appears at many athletic and campus functions.
We are looking for spirited and talented young
women that will represent our College in a positive
and respectful manner. Here are some frequently
asked questions:
If I am unable to do all the required
skills, will I be cut right away?
No, if you are unable to perform the skills
during the try-out the judges will take your
potential into account.
Do I have to choreograph something for
tryouts?
No, you will not have to choreograph anything
new for tryouts. You may perform a dance from
a previous season that highlights your specific
skills. It is acceptable to choreograph something
new, but it is not mandatory.
When does the team perform?
We perform at home football games, and home
basketball games. We will also make appearances
at other campus functions and in the community.
What style of dancing does the team
do?
We will be a well-rounded dance team performing
a variety of styles while focusing mainly on
jazz, hip hop, and pom.
How often do you practice?
We practice two days a week for two and a half
hours at a time. If we are performing at a special
event, we may add practices as needed.
