Heather
Densmore is in her first year as head coach
of the Adrian College Cheerleading and Dance
teams. A native of Gloucester, Virginia,
Densmore began cheering in the local youth
league when she was four. She cheered throughout
her school career and also participated
on an open squad after graduation.
Heather
began coaching at her alma mater, Gloucester
High School, in 1996. In three years with
Gloucester, the squad appeared at the state
competition twice. Also in 1996, she began
judging for the Virginia High School League.
Heather spent eight years as a certified
cheerleading official judging district,
regional, and state competitions. She continued
to coach, most recently, coaching at Woodside
High School in Newport News, Virginia.
After
graduating from Christopher Newport University
in 2001, Heather began teaching English.
In 2004, she and her family relocated to
Toledo, Ohio. Last year Heather started
teaching Special Education and is working
on her master’s degree from the University
of Toledo. She currently resides with her
husband, Brad, and two children, son, Taylor,
and daughter, Grace in Toledo.
