Carr named MIAA Player of the Week
Sophomore smacked pair of doubles and triples

ADRIAN, Mich.-- Adrian College sophomore outfielder Anthony Carr has been named the MIAA baseball position player of the week.

The Hudson native went 5-for-12 on the week with two doubles and two triples as Adrian won three-of-four games against Kalamazoo College. He also scored four runs and drove in a run as the Bulldogs improved to 18-6 in the MIAA.

On the year, Carr is hitting .327 with 27 runs and 15 RBI. He has totaled five doubles and three triples in 2007, resulting in a .436 slugging percentage.

The Bulldogs will travel to Albion College on Wednesday at 2 p.m. before hosting the Britons on Sunday at 1 p.m. in their regular-season finale.
