Welcome to the Adrian Youth Hockey
and Skating Association meeting. The information
below is intended to provide some idea regarding
the direction of our hockey and skating program.
We want to ensure that the residents of Adrian
and the surrounding area have access to and enjoy
the Arrington Ice Arena for themselves and their
children.
(AYH&SA) is dedicated to developing
the skating and hockey skills of the youth of
Adrian and Lenawee County. We will provide instructional,
educational and fun programs.
The intention of (AYH&SA)
is to have the first year be a grassroots, fun,
developmental league. Players will learn the fundamentals
of hockey, learn to play the game, play fun games
or cross ice games. Grassroots hockey will allow
all players to come to Arrington Ice Arena to
improve their skills and have fun. Players can
be simultaneously registered to play competitively
via USA Hockey and MAHA. Through the Adrian grassroots
program, we will be able to identify the number
of players in Adrian and Lenawee County. Coaches
and Players from Adrian College will coach and
direct the Junior Bulldogs Grassroots program.
