Students in the Youth Art Program have written and illustrated a book of their work called "Mysteries of the Imagination: Fairies and Creatures."

The students, ages 8 to 15, recently participated in a class called "Author, Author, Artist, Artist," which was offered by Adrian College and the YMCA of Lenawee this winter. The students learned a variety of illustration techniques, and then authored original writings to accompany their illustrations. They then had the works printed and bound as a book at Good Impressions Graphics in Adrian.

The young author/illustrators hosted a book signing and opening April 16 at Adrian College.
