ADRIAN COLLEGE THEATRE PRESENTS "THE
TROJAN WOMEN" posted
1/31/03
The Adrian College Theatre department
will present "The Trojan Women" Feb. 13, 14,
and 15. The show will begin in Downs Hall at 8 p.m.
each day, with an extra show at 2 p.m. on Saturday,

"The Trojan Women," written
by Euripides, was first performed in 415 BC. It is a
powerful anti-war statement set in a battlefield near
Troy that questions the most tragic situation of any
war, which is the effects on the noncombatant victims
who survive the horror and loss. This play transforms
Troy into every war-devastated landscape.
Tickets for the show are $5
for the general public and $3 for seniors. Downs Hall
is located on the Adrian College campus. For more information,
call the Adrian
College Theatre Department at 517-264-3922.
