ADRIAN COLLEGE THEATRE PRESENTS "THE TROJAN WOMEN" posted 1/31/03

The Adrian College Theatre department will present "The Trojan Women" Feb. 13, 14, and 15. The show will begin in Downs Hall at 8 p.m. each day, with an extra show at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 15.

"The Trojan Women," written by Euripides, was first performed in 415 BC. It is a powerful anti-war statement set in a battlefield near Troy that questions the most tragic situation of any war, which is the effects on the noncombatant victims who survive the horror and loss. This play transforms Troy into every war-devastated landscape.
