11/21/03
The Adrian College Theatre Department
presents Tennessee Williams’ “The Glass
Menagerie” Dec. 4 through Dec. 6.
“The Glass Menagerie”
is a semi-autobiographical work about the life of the
playwright. The setting of the play is in 1937 St. Louis.
The play is non-naturalistic and does not always follow
the traditional theatre conventions. It is full of lyricism
and symbolism.
Curtain time is 8 p.m. each day in
Adrian College’s Downs Hall Theatre, with an extra
show at 2 p.m. on Dec. 6. Ticket prices are $8 for the
general public. For information, call 517-264-3922.
