ADRIAN COLLEGE THEATRE
PRESENTS 'THE FOURTH WALL posted
12/7/04
The Adrian College theater department
presents A.R. Gurney's "The Fourth Wall,"
Dec. 9 through Dec. 11.
The Fourth Wall is a comedy about
a husband and wife whose lives have been brought into
conflict by the wife's interior decoration choices.
Peggy, the wife, has altered the living room in order
to make it look like a stage set in which all the furniture
faces a single wall, the "fourth wall," which
she has left bare and which is really the audience.
Roger, the husband, attempts to find help for his wife
through the assistance of a friend and a college theatre
professor while they sing the occasional Cole Porter
song along the way.
Curtain time is 8 p.m. each
day in Downs Hall Theatre, with an extra show at 2 p.m.
on Dec. 11. Downs Hall is located on Madison Street.
(campus map) Ticket
prices are $5 for the general public and $3 for seniors.
